Historically a club facility, the redeveloped MU Sport Pavilion deliberately allowed for its commercialisation, especially after extensive refurbishment in 2014/15. The Maytrix Group consulted extensively with stakeholders including tenant clubs, users and internal stakeholders, then assessed commercial opportunities using benchmarking to develop an effective and sustainable operating model. Meeting stakeholder needs the developed operating model delivers a commercial return to MU Sport. The Maytrix Group provided MU Sport with a detailed report on how to commercially manage the Pavilion. The report and proposed operating model informed the subsequent procurement model.
